It’s time to take the plunge. Time to actually do what I’ve only allowed myself to dream about for the past 6 years.
Photography has been a passion of mine for so much of my life. When I point my camera at the natural world it is an act of admiration, enjoying the creation that surrounds me. The process cuts through the noise of the world. It lets me focus and forget the things that really don’t matter in the end. For the past 15 years I’ve been practicing the art of exploring and allowing it to refocus me.
Now it’s time for me to share my photographs with the world! I hope you’ll join me in this journey as I introduce Klarite Photography, photography to break through the noise.
I absolutely love growing plants in my courtyard. It's to the extent that I can barely walk around the area. There are vines sprawling all over the yard right now. One of my favorite plants from this growing season was my mammoth sunflowers. Some of these things grew up to 14 feet tall or so, well above the eaves of my roof! The best part, of course, were the flower heads that were more than a foot across.
