I wanted to be sure that my first image of 2019 was one that spoke to the direction of Klarite. "Carica Hollow" fits that bill beautifully. The image was created from some of the last remnants of 2018's growing season in my courtyard. Even I was surprised by what my camera helped me see for the first time by creating this photograph.
"Carica Hollow" is a struggle of lights and darks, promises of new life and possibilities that could have been yet were cut short.
For years my slogan for Klarite Photography has been "photography to break through the noise."But what does that even mean? It's kind of hard to describe because it encompasses multiple facets. One of the main thing that I'm attempting to communicate is how I hope my work will be interacted with.
